Following the success of our inaugural JSA Mixed Teams Foil Championship in 2025, we're excited to bring the competition back in 2026—bigger and better than ever!
This year the championship will feature two separate competitions:
⚔️ JSA Mixed Teams Foil Championship
⚔️ JSA Mixed Teams Épée Championship
The leagues will run throughout the September/October School Holidays, giving fencers the opportunity to compete regularly, improve their skills, and enjoy the excitement of team fencing in a fun and supportive environment.
The competition concludes with the JSA Big Fencing Open Day & League Finals on Sunday, 25 October 2026, featuring:
Foil League Finals, Épée League Finals, Team Sabre Competition, Come & Try Fencing, Beginner demonstrations, Medal presentations, Family activities
Whether you're entering with friends, family members or club teammates, the JSA Mixed Teams Championship is open to fencers of all ages and abilities.

League matches will be held during the September/October School Holidays.
Competition dates:
Teams will not compete every day. Final match schedules will be confirmed after registrations close.
League Finals:
Sunday, 25 October 2026 during the JSA Big Fencing Open Day.
Entry Fees

Early Bird (until *8 September)
$120 per team ($60 per person)
Standard Entry (1 September – 24 September)
$160 per team ($80 per person)
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Team Composition
Team Composition
Each team consists of:
1 male fencer
1 female fencer
The female fencer may be replaced by:
a Veteran (60+) male
an Under 14 fencer
a novice fencer with one year or less of fencing experience

You can register:
As a complete team, or
As an individual.
If you register individually, JSA will do its best to match you with another fencer. If we are unable to find a suitable partner, your entry fee will be refunded.
Competition Format
Competition Format
League matches followed by Finals.
The top four teams from each league will qualify for the Finals.
Teams earn:
2 points for a win
1 point for a loss
0 points for a withdrawal or disqualification
Matches are fenced using the Mixed Relay Team format.
